This is an example of a page created with a pure red background (R 255 G 0 B 0), and the associated effects that it has on the retina of the human eye.

If you read this page for long enough, you will soon be able to see it for a period after closing the browser window, and possibly, you'll even find it irritating or difficult to read for an extended period of time. Just image if we had created it with a large amount of text that could fill up say.... 5 printed pages of letter size paper. Wouldn't that be fun?

We even took additional steps to make it just that much more irritating to the browser. For example, we left the font as a Roman character set, so that the characters caused the eye to strain even more when deciphering the text. Plus... to top it off, we even made the text a pure yellow and blue, since that it is also another straining color, giving the eyes a complete workout. If you don't believe that people actually design pages with this type of layout, then you just need to do some searching for site located on GeoCities, Xoom, or Tripod. You're certain to come across something soon.

If you're still reading this text, then you should close your browser now, before you enter a state of lethargy... We take no responsibility for mishaps which may occur while viewing this page.
